Real Madrid Humiliates Juventus

Christiano Ronaldo scored the goal of the season after he got Juventus defense napping. The megastar made a run into the box and converted Isco’s cross into a goal. The Portuguese striker has been praised for his ability to score at any level. Ronaldo called upon his reflexes to score a goal that the world will talk about for eternity. The bicycle kick goal was well calculated and left the fans including Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane scratching the head in disbelief. Zidane said that a goal like that can only come from natural reflex. He added that he was so happy that Ronaldo is part of his team.

There was miscommunication between Juve’s defenders that resulted in a cross that gave Christiano Ronaldo an opportunity to display the finest of his acrobatics.

Wearing jersey number seven, Ronaldo showed that he is human when he missed excellent opportunities that would have guaranteed him a hat-trick.  Ronaldo’s goal came as a surprise as Juventus were working out to cancel Real Madrid’s goal which had been scored in the third minute. The Italians found themselves trailing in the early minutes of the game and hoped that they could turn the tide around by pressing on Zidane’s midfield. Gonzalo Higuain was stopped in the 22nd minute while Chiellini wasted a super chance that would have made a difference.

Paulo Dybala who had all along been impressive was finally sent off after receiving a second yellow card in the 66th minute. He had been booked earlier on for simulation and Carvajal’s aerial challenge was enough to earn him a second yellow that saw him walk off the pitch.

Juan Cuadrado should have scored for Juve but was in a haste and botched a great chance. Mateo Kovacic and Tomi Kroos, hit the woodwork in the second and first half respectively to ensure that Real demolished Juve.  It was a good day for Real who had a good start. Isco had enough space on his left flank which enabled him to supply across to Ronaldo who poked the ball in the net. Juventus would have leveled almost immediately but Paulo Dybala stopped Sergio Ramos from unleashing a shot that would have earned the Italians their first goal. In the 13th minute, Ramos headed Rodrigo Betancur’s shot near the goal line. It was Keylo Navas- Real Madrid’s goalkeeper that pulled a save to deny Higuain Gonzales a goal.
